Sparksign Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to the Sparksign Zodiac Compatibility mobile app (later “Sparksign”) developed by KOSHINA APPS (the “Service Provider”, “we”, “us”). They replace the general KOSHINA APPS Terms of Use for Sparksign only. Our other apps remain covered by those terms.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using it. The App is provided free of charge and “AS IS”.
The short version
Sparksign is for fun. Its scores and readings are entertainment, not advice. Be thoughtful about the people you add and the cards you share, and enjoy it.
For entertainment only
Sparksign’s compatibility scores, readings and astrological content are provided for entertainment purposes only. They are not scientific, and they are not professional advice of any kind, including relationship, psychological, medical, legal or financial advice. Please don’t make important decisions about your relationships, health, money or life based solely on the App.
People you add
Sparksign lets you add other people by name and birthday. Only add information you are comfortable having on your device, and be respectful of the people you add. Result cards you share may include another person’s name. Please think before you share, and don’t use the App to embarrass, harass or harm anyone. You are responsible for what you choose to share and where you share it.
Intellectual property
Unauthorized copying or modification of the App, any part of the App, its readings or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. You may not attempt to extract the App’s source code or content, or create derivative versions of it. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to the App remain the property of the Service Provider.
Changes to the App
We want the App to be as useful and enjoyable as possible. We therefore reserve the right to change the App, add or remove features, or introduce charges or advertising at any time and for any reason. Any charges for the App or its features will be clearly communicated to you before you pay anything.
Your device
The App stores the information you enter on your device only (see our Sparksign Privacy Policy). It is your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the App secure. We strongly advise against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which removes software restrictions imposed by your device’s official operating system. Doing so could expose your phone to malware, viruses and malicious programs, compromise its security features, and may stop the App from working correctly or at all.
The App works offline and does not need an internet connection to use. Downloading the App or its updates from your app store may use mobile data, under your mobile network provider’s terms.

Accuracy and liability
We work to keep the App accurate and up to date. Birthplace search and time-zone handling rely on third-party data from GeoNames, which may occasionally contain errors. The App is provided “AS IS”, without warranties of any kind, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying on the App or its content.
We also can’t take responsibility for circumstances outside the App, such as your device running out of battery or being lost.
Updates and termination
We may update the App from time to time. The App’s requirements for your device’s operating system may change, and you will need to download updates to keep using it. We do not guarantee that the App will always be updated to remain compatible with your particular device or operating system version. You agree to accept updates to the App when they are offered to you.
We may stop providing the App at any time without notice. Unless we tell you otherwise, when that happens, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms end, and (b) you must stop using the App and, if necessary, delete it from your device.
Eligibility
General age limitation. The App is not intended for or directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 13 to use it. If you are under 13, please do not use the App. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 is using the App, please contact us at koshina.apps@gmail.com.
EEA, UK and Switzerland. You must be at least 16 years old to use the App in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
Age of consent. We do not allow use of the App by anyone under the minimum age of consent for processing personal data under the data protection laws of their country of residence.

Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time, and we will post any new version on this page with a new effective date. Please review this page periodically. If a future version of the App changes how it works in a way that affects these terms (for example, by adding advertising or purchases), we will update the terms before that version is released.
